“The SEND system is complicated. We know how to navigate it — so you don’t have to do it alone.”
A diagnosis or assessment finding is just the beginning. The next challenge is making the education system respond. Schools are stretched. Local authorities are under pressure. Waiting lists are long. EWL knows how to cut through the delay and get your child the formal, documented support they’re entitled to.
A professionally authored Education, Health and Care Plan report — the formal document that entitles your child to specified educational provision. No waiting for school to act. No relying on overstretched local authority processes. Lauren writes the report. You submit it.
Following every gap analysis or EHCP report, Lauren produces a detailed intervention map — a practical, actionable document sent directly to the school SENCO. It translates the assessment findings into specific in-school strategies that the school can implement immediately.
If your child already has an EHCP, the annual review process is critical. Too often, families attend reviews unprepared, outcomes are vague, and the plan is not amended when it should be. Lauren helps you prepare, contributes professionally where needed, and ensures the review drives meaningful change.
Primary to secondary school is the most vulnerable transition point for children with SEND. The change in environment, staff, routine and expectation is huge — and most schools don’t provide the level of support that SEND children genuinely need. EWL’s transition support prepares your child and fights their corner.
The EHCP process can feel impossibly complicated. Here’s a plain-English overview of what it involves and where EWL can help.
An Education, Health and Care Plan is a legally binding document that specifies the educational provision a child with significant SEND needs is entitled to receive. It is produced by the Local Authority following a Needs Assessment. Once in place, the school must deliver what the plan specifies — it is not optional.
You or the school requests an EHCP Needs Assessment. The Local Authority has 6 weeks to decide whether to proceed.
The LA collects reports from education, health and social care. A private EWL report strengthens your case significantly here.
If approved, a draft plan is issued. You have the right to comment, amend, and challenge provisions that are too vague or inadequate.
The final EHCP is issued. Annual reviews must take place. EWL supports you at every review to ensure the plan stays current and effective.

Noah sees Lauren once a week to help support him in his learning both in and out of school. She is amazing with him and specialises in his SEND needs. She is so patient with him and he absolutely loves going to her. She moulds learning to his needs and focus which is absolutely perfect for him.
Cannot thank Education With Lauren enough for all the amazing work she has done with Bodhi! Not only has she built his confidence up to a huge level, but she has also helped with other emotional aspects he needed to address. Since being with her, he has started to enjoy school work — first time ever!
I honestly can’t recommend Education With Lauren enough. She has been absolutely incredible for our son. He struggles with anxiety when it comes to school, but with Lauren it’s a completely different story — he genuinely looks forward to his sessions each week.
I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience with Lauren while supporting both of my daughters — Sienna with her 11+ preparation and Taliyah with her GCSEs. From the very beginning, it was clear that Lauren genuinely cares. Both girls have come on tremendously.
Education With Lauren has been utterly life changing for my daughter. Not only has she helped support her from being behind where she needed to be in education but to now ‘greater depth’. Lauren has also supported us and gone above and beyond with working with the school to support our daughter’s SEN needs. I recommend Lauren to everyone whose child needs that extra love and support with their education.
My son Isaac has been tutoring with Lauren for nearly a year, and she has completely changed his educational journey. Before starting with Lauren, Isaac hated school. Now he comes out happy and confident because he finally understands things. His teacher has even commented on how Isaac now raises his hand, answers questions, and speaks in front of the class — something he never would have done before. I honestly can’t recommend Lauren enough.
