Lauren Robson, Founder of Education With Lauren
Founder, Education With Lauren · Kent

Lauren Robson is a qualified teacher, SEND specialist and independent education consultant with extensive experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across mainstream, specialist and alternative educational settings.

Holding a Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Lauren specialises in educational assessment, curriculum gap analysis, EHCP reviews, SEND Tribunal reporting and educational consultancy.

Lauren founded Education With Lauren after working alongside families whose children had received diagnoses of additional needs but continued to struggle in school. She recognised that while a diagnosis explains why a child experiences difficulties, it does not automatically translate into effective educational provision. Many families and schools needed support in understanding how a child’s needs should be met within the classroom, where learning and progress truly happen.

Education With Lauren was created to bridge this gap between diagnosis and educational practice. Lauren works with families, schools and professionals to identify barriers to learning and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations that help children access education with confidence and success.

As an approved education supplier for Kent County Council, Lauren delivers commissioned educational provision and works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including schools, SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Local Authority SEND teams and families to ensure children receive the support they need.

In addition to her independent consultancy work, Lauren has been commissioned by a number of Kent schools to undertake targeted educational assessments and create bespoke intervention plans for pupils identified on the SEND Register. This work focuses on identifying barriers to learning, analysing educational need, and providing practical, evidence-based strategies that enable schools to deliver effective, measurable provision within the classroom.

Lauren also provides highly specialist educational provision for some of Kent County Council’s most complex Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) pupils. Working with children and young people whose needs include autism, severe anxiety, complex communication needs, profound learning difficulties and those who are non-speaking, she designs and delivers highly individualised educational programmes tailored to each child’s unique profile. Through close collaboration with families, therapists and Local Authority professionals, Lauren creates bespoke educational provision that enables children with the highest levels of need to access learning, develop independence and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.

Education With Lauren is an independent education consultancy and tutoring service. It is not a school and does not provide full-time education.

Through her independent consultancy, Lauren also supports families navigating the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) and EHCP process. Many of the families she works with have previously been advised that their child is unlikely to meet the threshold for statutory assessment or have experienced unsuccessful applications. By undertaking detailed educational assessments, gathering robust evidence and producing comprehensive professional reports, Lauren helps families present clear, evidence-based submissions that accurately reflect a child’s educational needs. Her track record in securing Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments is exceptionally strong, with approximately three out of every four applications she supports resulting in a statutory assessment being agreed. This reflects the quality and depth of the educational evidence provided and Lauren’s thorough understanding of the legal thresholds applied by Local Authorities. Every child’s circumstances are different, and the decision to carry out a statutory assessment rests with the local authority.

In recognition of her commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised educational support, Education With Lauren was awarded Independent Education Provider of the Year at the Business Awards UK 2026.

Lauren is passionate about ensuring every child receives an education that is ambitious, inclusive and tailored to their individual needs. Her work is underpinned by current educational research, the National Curriculum and the SEND Code of Practice, with a focus on turning assessment into meaningful educational outcomes that enable children to thrive. Whether working alongside families, schools, Local Authorities or multidisciplinary professionals, Lauren is committed to ensuring that every recommendation leads to practical change, empowering children and young people to reach their full educational potential.

Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Hadi Shaker Naeeni

MD, FRCPsych · Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists

Dr Shaker Naeeni is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists — a distinction recognising more than a decade of dedicated service and significant contribution to the field. He currently serves as Lead Consultant in an NHS Trust in the home counties, and trained at the Royal London and Bart’s scheme before specialising in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Cambridge’s Developmental Psychiatry Section.

With more than 20 years’ experience, his practice centres on neurodevelopmental conditions — ADHD and autism — alongside the anxiety, mood difficulties and effects of adverse childhood experience that so often accompany them. He is known for detailed diagnostic assessment and treatment plans built around the individual child, and families consistently comment on his manner as much as his expertise.

He is also a respected educator and supervisor, has contributed to peer-reviewed research cited internationally, and has appeared in the media as a trusted voice on child and adolescent mental health.

Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Anya Ciobanca

MD, MRCPsych · Cognitive Analytical Therapist

Dr Ciobanca qualified in medicine in 2004 and trained in public health before moving into child and adolescent psychiatry, completing her Core Psychiatry Training and Specialist Training in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Cambridge. She has worked across a range of NHS settings with both children and adults, including people with learning disabilities and eating disorders.

Her approach to assessment is personalised and holistic. She has particular expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions — ADHD, autism and tic disorders — and in the conditions that frequently co-occur with them, including depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD and OCD. Families describe her as compassionate and thorough, taking the time to understand the full picture before setting out a way forward.

Alongside her psychiatric training she completed in-depth training as a Cognitive Analytical Therapist at St Thomas’ Hospital, giving her particular expertise in combining psychological and pharmacological approaches. She is a visiting consultant psychiatrist at the University of Cambridge, where she delivers complex communication training to medical students.

Dr Ciobanca offers consultations in both English and Romanian.

She has extensive experience across the full range of child and adolescent mental health, with particular interest and expertise in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions — ADHD, autism spectrum conditions and tic disorders.

She also regularly assesses and treats anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, psychotic disorders and eating disorders, which matters in practice: children rarely arrive with one neat difficulty, and a clinician who can see the whole picture is more likely to get the diagnosis right.
